Attach Documents to Supplier

This section will discuss how to attach documents to supplier records.

 

 

Attach Documents to Supplier Records

  1. From the Supplier module, select Attach Document button from the menu. The Attach Document form will display.

  2. Above the grid in the form are various filtering options for the needed documents. These are filtering options by type (Attach To), column (Search By) and column range (All or Range From To).

    1. Select the type of record that you will attach documents to using the Attach To field.
    2. You can filter the records further by setting a column as the search criteria in the Search By field.
    3. Select the All option to display all records, or select a range according to the value of the chosen column by choosing the Range option and setting the range in the From and To fields.

  3. Click the Attach Document button on the upper right area to browse for the document to attach.

  4. Enter a description or note for the attached document and click OK. You will see the attached document by clicking on the Node button inside the Chk column.

 

 

Attach Files to a Single Document

You may attach documents to a single record without running the Attach Document option.

  1. In detail forms, e. g. Customer or Supplier, go to the Documents tab. In transaction forms, e.g. Sales Order, Purchase Order, go to the Attachments tab.

  2. Select Attach Document > CRM Document Management. The Attach from Document Management window will display.

  3. Click the containing folder.

  4. Select the files to attach by clicking on the checkbox before the File Name column.

  5. Click Attach button to attach.

 

 

Compile Documents Without Attaching To Any Records

You can use the CRM Document Management to collect your documents. Please note that documents placed in the Document Management takes up space in your company database.

 

 

Remove Attachments

  1. From the Supplier module, select Attach Document button from the menu. The Attach Document form will display.

  2. Filter the documents using the same criteria you used when you attached the documents.

  3. Click on the Node button inside the Chk column to view the attachments.

  4. Right click on the attachment and select Delete Attachment/s.
